Construction employment increased in 250 out of 358 metro areas between September 2016 and September 2017, declined in 56 and stagnated in 52, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Kadean to Start Construction of ‘Building 5’ at Lakeview Commerce Center

LOUIS, Mo. – With distribution and logistics centers continuing their rapid expansion throughout the greater St. Louis, Missouri area, Kadean Construction has been tapped by Panattoni Development to construct a second 769,000-square-foot light industrial building in the Lakeview Commerce Center in Edwardsville, Illinois. Thirty-five states and the District of Columbia added construction jobs between September 2016 and September 2017, while 26 states added construction jobs between August and September as some state employment levels were impacted by recent hurricanes, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data released recently.
