AP Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for New Rawlins High School
RAWLINS, Wyo. – Braving sub-zero temperatures, AP Wyoming, L.M. Olson and the community of Rawlins, Wyoming celebrated the ribbon cutting at the new Rawlins High School for Carbon County School District #1. The $58-million state-of-the-art replacement high school includes a new swim center with a lap pool, diving pool and water slides. The new school was built adjacent to the existing high school, which maintained phased-active occupancy throughout construction. Construction Input Prices Surge to Start 2017, ABC Says Energy Prices Remain on the Ascent
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Construction input prices collectively rose by 1 percent on a monthly basis and 3.8 percent on a year-over-year basis, according to analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released by Associated Builders and Contractors. This represents the fastest year-over-year rate of materials price inflation since the beginning of 2012. Nonresidential input prices rose 0.9 percent for the month and are up 4 percent year over year. Work Begins on 103,00-SF Facility in Union, Missouri
The Korte Company has begun working on a new manufacturing facility in Union, Missouri for Spray Dynamics, a subsidiary of Heat and Control, Inc. The 13.3-acre site will soon be home to Heat and Control’s newest facility. Washington Engineering & Architecture was named the project’s architect and engineer. The new facility offers the latest in manufacturing capabilities, testing rooms and includes a trial center able to provide comprehensive testing capabilities across the company’s wide range of products.
