WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation has released the November 2014 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry. Designed to collect leadership data, the index reports a qualitative assessment of both the prevailing business conditions and expectations for the future as reported by key executives from the $903-billion equipment finance sector. Clark Signs $77M Federal Contract for Truman Building Modernization

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The   United States General Services Administration has awarded Clark a $77-million contract for the Phase 1C Modernization of the Harry S. Truman Building. Originally constructed in 1939, the Harry S. Truman Building is home to the U.S. Department of State. The scope of work includes the demolition of the interior of the building and complete hazardous material abatement. The building’s historic façade will be reinforced with structural steel and existing windows will be replaced with blast-resistant glass. Construction Spending, Public-Sector Demand for Construction Increase

Construction spending increased in October amid growing public-sector demand for construction and continued modest growth in residential, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America.
