SAN JOSE, Calif. — Sundt Construction, Inc. and San Jose State University held a topping-out ceremony recently for the new Campus Village Phase II complex located in the heart of the San Jose State University campus in San Jose, California. Silicon Ranch Corporation and the Renewable Energy Team of McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. are well under way with construction at Silicon Ranch's 8-Megawatt solar power project in Weld County, Colorado. Poudre Valley REA announced earlier this year their signed purchase power agreement with Silicon Ranch to develop the large 8-megaWatt project that will deliver renewable energy to Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association in Northern Colorado for the next twenty years. Hensel Phelps was recently awarded a construction manager-at-risk contract for the concessions build-out at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas. This contract is with Delaware North Travel Hospitality Inc., a hospitality, food service and retail company, servicing airports and sports venues across the globe. The scope of work consists of food services spaces, retail, travel and an off-site commissary. The Services Group anticipates commencement of construction in January of 2016, with a December 2017 completion.
