SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Clark Construction Group has been awarded a contract to build the Park Tower at Transbay, a 43-story office building in downtown San Francisco, California. A joint venture of The John Buck Company, Golub and Company, and Metlife tapped Clark to construct the 872,000-square-foot building, which features two below-grade levels of parking. The Korte Company was recently awarded a construction contract for a six-story, 284-room Visitor’s Quarters at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. When completed in the fall of 2017, the 170,000-square-foot facility is designed to be USGBC LEED Certified Silver. The guest rooms include many of the amenities as a hotel room, including a bed, desk, closet, as well as a microwave and refrigerator.
