ROCHESTER, Minn. — A significant project for the City of Rochester, the convention center addition to the Mayo Civic Center, reached the 10 percent completion mark on July 31. The project, which broke ground on March 19, is expected to be open to the public in 2017. More than $7 million of work has been completed on the $84-million expansion project thus far. American Builders 2017 recently laid the first brick at the Atlanta Braves" SunTrust Park, in Georgia, with the help of 83-year-old brick mason Eutis Morris. Morris worked on the brick and block at both Atlanta's original Fulton County Stadium and Turner Field.   Because of his special ties to Atlanta baseball, American Builders 2017 and the Atlanta Braves invited Morris to kick off the brick work on the new stadium in a private ceremony on Thursday, Aug 27.
