First Brick Laid on the Atlanta Braves" SunTrust Park Site

American Builders 2017 recently laid the first brick at the Atlanta Braves" SunTrust Park, in Georgia, with the help of 83-year-old brick mason Eutis Morris. Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Survey of Economic Activity: Monthly Leasing and Finance Index

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Monthly Leasing and Finance Index (MLFI-25), which reports economic activity from 25 companies representing a cross section of the $903-billion equipment finance sector, showed their overall new business volume for July was $8.2 billion, up 4 percent from new business volume in July 2014. Volume was down 14 percent from $9.5 billion in June. Year to date, cumulative new business volume increased 8 percent compared to 2014. SEATTLE, Wash. — Clark is returning to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ten years after completing the airport’s South Terminal Expansion. The Port of Seattle awarded the company a $420-million Design-Build contract for an International Arrivals Facility. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, San Francisco/New York and The Miller Hull Partnership, Seattle, are the project’s designers. CHICAGO, Ill. — Mortenson Construction has turned an empty 334,700-square-foot warehouse into a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant for Woodward, Inc.'s aerospace components business in suburban Chicago, Illinois. The $90-million project, designed by Ghafari Associates, consolidated Woodward's engineering, R&D, production, testing and administrative operations from a half-dozen locations.
