Hensel Phelps’ Mid-Atlantic district office was recently awarded Phase 1 of the Constitution Gardens rehabilitation project on behalf of the Trust for the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The Trust for the National Mall operates as a nonprofit partner of the National Park Service and will wholly fund and manage the project. PHILADELPHIA, Pa., and SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Hill International has received a contract from affiliates of Lennar Urban and Macerich Development to provide construction management consultant services in connection with the development at Candlestick Point in San Francisco, California. June Construction Starts Retreat 15%
NEW YORK, N.Y. — New construction starts in June dropped 15 percent from the previous month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $620.2 billion, according to Dodge Data & Analytics. The decline followed an especially strong May, which benefitted from a $9-billion liquefied natural gas export terminal in Texas being entered as a May start.
