Kraus-Anderson Adds to Management Staff
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Kraus-Anderson Construction Company has added to its growing management staff with the naming of three superintendents. Rick Lund – general superintendent Lund has been named general superintendent. He has worked for KA since 1989, most recently as project superintendent. Architecture Billings Remain Stuck in Winter Slowdown
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Riding a stretch of increasing levels of demand for thirteen out of the last fifteen months, the Architecture Billings Index dropped in April for the second month this year. As a leading economic indicator of construction activity, the ABI reflects the approximate 9-12-month lead time between architecture billings and construction spending. The American Institute of Architects reported the April ABI score was 48.8, down sharply from a mark of 51.7 in March. Phelps Construction Group Completes New Ellis Island Museum Expansion
BOONTON, N.J., Phelps Construction Group has completed a project for the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. to build expanded galleries for the newly renamed Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration on Ellis Island in New York harbor.
