Construction spending rose in December to a six-year high of $982 billion as public construction for the year increased for the first time since 2009, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America. Demolition began in September, commencing the $200-million redevelopment of The Old Post Office into what will be one of the newest additions to the rapidly growing Trump Hotel Collection. Gilbane Selected to Construct New Dearborn 6-12 STEM/Early College Academy

Walsh and the City of Boston have selected Gilbane Building Company to provide construction management at-risk services for the construction of their first new school building in more than a decade.
