AGC Reports Construction Employment, Spending Rises in March

Construction employment increased in 152 out of 339 metropolitan areas between March 2012 and March 2013, declined in 126 and was stagnant in 61, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released today by the Associated General Contractors of America. Straub Celebrates 1,000,000 Safe Man Hours on Job Site

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Straub Construction, Inc., recently celebrated a million-hour safety milestone with their joint venture partner, Martin Harris Construction. McCarthy Completes $42.5M Cape Girardeau Schools Program

St. LOUIS, Mo. — McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has worked closely with Cape Girardeau Schools since 2009 to plan, design and build $42.5 million of improvements for the Cape Girardeau, Mo. School District. The completed program includes a total of 154,422 square feet of improvements for eight schools. The Richard D. Kinder Performance Hall at Central High School was the final project to be completed in this building program.
