Bureau of Land Management to Get a New Office in Twin Falls

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management will be moving into new offices this year in Twin Falls, Idaho. BLM will consolidate several locations in town to property adjacent to the bureau's current warehouse. The new facilities will include a 16,000-square-foot, single-story office, a 70,000-square-foot outdoor yard and renovations to the existing 3,000-square-foot warehouse. A move-in date slated is for August 2015, said Stephanie Kenitzer, spokeswoman for the U.S. General Services Administration, which holds the lease on the property. Nonresidential Construction Spending Dips in November

Nonresidential construction spending fell 1 percent on a monthly basis in November, but has still managed to expand 4 percent on a year-over-year basis according to the recent release from the U.S. Census Bureau. Spending for the month totaled $617 billion on a seasonally adjusted, annualized basis. Construction Spending Declines in November, Reports AGC

Construction spending edged down in November but outlays for the year remained on track for a modest increase over 2013 totals, according to a recent analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America. Bridgestone Americas Celebrates Groundbreaking for Headquarters in Downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Americas, Inc., a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, celebrated the groundbreaking for its new 30-story, more than $200-million headquarters to be located in the SoBro area of downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
