The $20-million project includes a new 90,400-square-foot, four-story building that will include classrooms, small-group learning rooms, laboratories and a technology center. JOPLIN, Mo. — Less than two years after breaking ground on the 875,000-square-foot Mercy Hospital Joplin for Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy, McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. and Mercy are celebrating the substantial completion of the building enclosure. A ceremony held recently recognized schedule milestone achievements, quality and safety. OSHA Renews Alliance with Scaffold and Access Industry Association
WASHINGTON, D.C. —The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has renewed its alliance with the Scaffold and Access Industry Association to provide information and training to protect the safety and health of workers who use scaffolds and lift equipment. Driver has recently completed construction on a 127,000-square-foot Bloomingdale's department store, using iPad applications and technologies that allow a paperless job site to create a crisp and efficient construction time table for the new store.
