OSHA Issues Final Rule to Protect Workers Using Cranes, Derricks in Demolition and Underground Construction

WASHINGTON, D.C. — OSHA has issued a final rule that applies the requirements of the August 2010 cranes and derricks in construction standard to demolition work and underground construction. DPR Construction Purchases Hardin Construction

ATLANTA, Ga. and REDWOOD CITY, Calif— DPR Construction has purchased Atlanta, Ga.-based Hardin Construction Company, LLC. The two companies are combining operations in the Southeast and Texas markets, including Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Raleigh, Tampa, Orlando and West Palm Beach. The combined company will operate nationally as DPR Construction, with the exception of Atlanta where it will operate as DPR Hardin Construction.
