The Korte Company was awarded an $18.9-million school renovation project for Mooresville High School in Mooresville, Ind. The 36,357-square-foot project includes a complete renovation of the north and south buildings at the school. The Mooresville High School renovation project includes a complete renovation of the north and south buildings. Specific design items include a new secure main entry, administration area, two-story glass concourse, virtual learning center, PE locker rooms, project "Lead the Way", improved circulation throughout the building and access control. TCA Announces First Companies to Earn Certification in New Program

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The Tilt-Up Concrete Association, a nonprofit international organization that serves to expand and improve the use of Tilt-Up as the preferred building system, has announced approval of the first two organizations in its company certification program.   The program, in development for more than three years in response to requests from the industry for more detailed assurance of company performance, was launched this March in Florida. Construction Spending Rebounds in February

Construction spending rebounded in February with gains from depressed January levels in residential, private nonresidential and public investment, according to an analysis of new census data by the Associated General Contractors of America. Construction Employment Climbs Reports AGC

Construction employment expanded in 35 states in February as the industry added 48,000 jobs nationally, the largest one-month gain in nearly six years, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data.
