Construction Employment at Three-Year High
The construction industry added 48,000 jobs in February, the ninth consecutive month of job growth for the sector, as more people are working in construction than at any point in the last three and a half years, according to an analysis of new government data by the Associated General Contractors of America. National Construction Charity Group Begins Renovations on Nonprofit Headquarters
Construction charity organization AGC Charities, Inc. began work this week on renovations to the main facility of a Palm Springs area group that supports children and adults with disabilities as part of its annual Operation Opening Doors event. Nonresidential Construction Index Continues to Rise
RALEIGH, N.C. — FMI, provider of management consulting and investment banking to the engineering and construction industry, announced the release of The 2013 First Quarter Nonresidential Construction Index report. The NRCI of 58.1 is a 2.6-point improvement over the fourth quarter of 2012.
