DUBLIN, Ohio — The Women in Concrete Alliance — a networking organization for women in the concrete industry — has announced the call for entries for the third annual Woman of Distinction award. AGC Releases New Construction Employment Data

Construction employment declined in 156 out of 337 metropolitan areas between October 2011 and October 2012, increased in 127 and was stagnant in 54, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released today by the Associated General Contractors of America. ABC Predicts Moderate Construction Recovery To Continue in 2013

Construction Spending Rises for Seventh Straight Month Reports AGC

All major segments of construction spending increased in October, bringing total spending to a 37-month high at an annualized rate of $872 billion, according to an analysis of new federal data released by the Associated General Contractors of America.
