Construction Material Costs Jump for Second Month in a Row in September
Price spikes for several key construction materials in September threaten to push contractors out of business, according to an analysis of federal figures released by the Associated General Contractors of America. Construction Sector Adds 5,000 Jobs Between August and September
Construction employers added 5,000 jobs in September while the industry’s unemployment rate hit 11.9 percent, according to an analysis of new federal data released by the Associated General Contractors of America. BVSD and SolarCity Celebrate Installation of 5000 Solar Panels on 14 District Schools
BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder Valley School District, one of the greenest school districts in the country, and SolarCity, a national leader in clean energy services, announced the installation of more than 5,000 solar panels on 14 schools across the district. The district celebrated the 1.4-megawatt solar project on Monday, October 1, with a “flip the switch” ceremony at Foothill Elementary School, one of the 14 schools that is part of the project. DALLAS, Texas — The PCL family of companies is expanding with the opening of a new Water Infrastructure Group office in Dallas, Texas.
