Wellness Workdays, a provider of workplace wellness programs, enhances its partnership with Turner Construction by expanding its Wellness Trailer 2.0 program to new locations in and around Texas. The new regional partnership between Turner Construction and Wellness Workdays was established in Texas in January 2024 with one site, serving over 300 workers. The multi-pronged approach includes one-on-one behavioral health and wellness coaching, injury prevention and management, preventive screenings and telehealth. Howard S. Wright Selected to Deliver Vern Miller Civic Center Renovations

Howard S. Wright, a Balfour Beatty company, has been selected to deliver exterior and interior renovations to the Salem Civic Center/City Hall in Salem, Oregon to create a 21st century workplace for the mayor and city managers offices, city council chambers, municipal courts and planning and purchasing departments. Roughly $40 million in substantial renovations will be made to the 1970 Civic Center featuring a seismic retrofit and structural upgrades. Nonresidential Construction Spending Inches Up in August, Says ABC

National nonresidential construction spending increased 0.1% in August, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors’ analysis of data published by the U.S. Census Bureau. On a seasonally adjusted annualized basis, nonresidential spending totaled $1.22 trillion. Spending was up on a monthly basis in 10 of the 16 nonresidential subcategories.
