Kristin Clements has been promoted to corporate director of safety for The Boldt Company. During her five-year tenure at the company, she has held positions as regional safety director in California and safety manager on the $158-million Sutter Health Santa Rosa Hospital Project in Sonoma County, California. ABC: Nonresidential Construction Spending Dips .1% in November, Flat Year Over Year

National nonresidential construction spending declined .1% in November, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors’ analysis of data published by the U.S. Census Bureau. On a seasonally adjusted annualized basis, nonresidential spending totaled $1.234 trillion. On a year-over-year basis, nonresidential construction spending is up 2.8%, approximately flat in inflation-adjusted terms. Spending was down on a monthly basis in 8 of the 16 nonresidential subcategories. Construction Employment Increases In 41 States From November 2023 To November 2024

Construction employment increased in 41 states and the District of Columbia in November from a year earlier, according to a new analysis of federal employment data released by the Associated General Contractors of America.
