Public Proposal Period Opens for Health Care Design and Construction Guidelines

The public proposal period to recommend updates to the nationally accepted Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities opened April 20, 2011. Interested parties are invited to submit proposals that suggest changes to the 2010 edition of the Guidelines until Oct. 31, 2011. The Health Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC) is the oversight body responsible for updating each edition of the Guidelines. The group has begun the process of updating the 2010 Guidelines and is soliciting proposals for changes to its content. Large eastern U.S. Construction Company Announces Name Change

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. — One of the nation's largest employee-owned construction companies, Pizzagalli Construction Company, announced plans to change its official name to PC Construction Company as of June 1. The renaming comes as the company's founding brothers, Angelo, Jim, and Remo, have become less and less involved with the company on a daily basis.
