The top 10 most cited OSHA violations were unveiled Oct. 27 at 97th annual National Safety Council (NSC) Congress and Expo in Orlando, Fla., with scaffolding and fall protection violations once again topping the list. Richard Fairfax, director of OSHA's directorate of enforcement programs, presented the most common OSHA citations on the expo floor at NSC. According to Fairfax, 81 percent of the violations OSHA recorded throughout the year were either serious or willful violations.
