OSHA Partners with Manhattan Torcon JV to Protect Workers Constructing New Medical Facility

FREDERICK, Md. — Workers constructing the new medical research facility at Fort Detrick will be safer due to a new partnership formed between the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Manhattan/Torcon Joint Venture. The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases located at Fort Detrick, in Frederick will be the premier bio-defense laboratory for the U.S. Department of Defense. Scaffold Industry Association and International Powered Access Federation announce joint agreement to offer Mast Climbing Training

VA Announces $41M in Construction Contracts for San Antonio

Construction Costs Are Forecasted to Decline Further in First Quarter of 2010

Market pressures maintain downward influence on construction costs NEW YORK,NY — Feb. 24 — Turner Construction Company announced that the First Quarter 2010 Turner Building Cost Index, which measures non-residential building construction costs in the United States, has decreased by 0.5% from the Fourth Quarter 2009 and decreased 7.74% from the First Quarter 2009.
