LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has awarded LEED Gold Certification of the new three-story, 50,000-square-foot Allied Health Education and Training Facility at San Diego Mesa College, located at 7250 Mesa College Dr. in the Clairemont area of San Diego, Calif. McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., one of the nation’s preeminent health and education facility builders, served as the construction manager on behalf of the San Diego Community College District. The National Safety Excellence Award recognizes outstanding long-term safety performance and a company's total commitment to proactive safety training strategies.
