Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. recently completed a new facility for the Center for New Horizons, Inc., Head Injury Association. The 10,000-square-foot, single-level facility is located in Mineola, New York. The project involved a complete gut and build-out. Racanelli installed interior foundation walls along with underground plumbing, a ramp to accommodate individuals with disabilities, exterior canopy, aluminum composite material panels, as well as sidewalks, curbs and an asphalt parking lot. Swinerton Breaks Ground at Osler Parking Structure at UC San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Claif. – Swinerton has broken ground on the Osler Parking Structure at the University of California, San Diego. Working with Watry Design and Gensler, this 418,725-square-foot project is scheduled to complete in June 2018. This Design-Build collaboration aims to serve as gateway to the campus, with an onsite visitor center and an innovative design that blends in seamlessly into the natural landscape. PCL Construction Renovates Facility at Los Angeles Mission

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – General contractor, PCL Construction donated its resources and time to fully renovate the Los Angeles Mission’s outdoor restroom facility in Los Angeles, California, at no cost. The city of Los Angeles required the LA Mission provide an accessible restroom, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, which could remain open to the public 24/7. Construction charity organization AGC Charities, Inc. is partnering with local construction firms to help build “Morgan’s Inspiration Island,” a new handicap accessible water park addition to nonprofit Morgan’s Wonderland.
