Stevens Construction has completed Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Winter Park Village, Florida. The company completed an interior 37,000-square-foot renovation of an existing building into a new cancer center, which includes an expansive treatment room, PET CT suite, blood draw room, laboratory, pharmacy, research offices, exam rooms, check-out and scheduling area and employee lounge. FCS incorporates principles of Evidence-Based Design, which have been proven to ease patient anxiety while offering opportunities for privacy or support during treatment. Stevens Construction led the project with Heilman Architecture, P.A. and Peninsula Engineering.
