West Coast General Contractor Extends Award-Winning Safety Record

Heat Susceptibility, Sweat Rate Trackable with Kenzen Smart PPE

Kenzen has added two new features to its smart PPE system for monitoring workers’ heat risk on the job — the technology to track heat susceptibility and sweat rate of individuals. The proprietary algorithm determines the person’s heat risk category by evaluating their medical or physical conditions, physical fitness, heat-acclimatization status, history of heat injury and illness, medications, chronic illnesses and age. Survey Says: ABC Members Invested $1.3B in Construction Workforce Education in 2020

According to the results of the Associated Builders and Contractors 2021 Workforce Development Survey, ABC contractor members invested $1.3 billion in workforce development initiatives in 2020, providing craft, leadership and safety education to 500,000 course attendees to advance their careers in commercial and industrial construction.
