Lift & Move USA Showcases Stadium Project for Students at CONEXPO-CON/AGG

More than 350 students from Clark County School District visited the Workforce Solutions area at the recent CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lift & Move USA featured an interactive presentation about the role of crane, rigging and specialized transportation operations in the construction of Allegiant Stadium, new home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders. Houston Community Supports Career Exploration

Lift & Move USA, hosted by Liebherr USA in Houston, Texas, received one of the largest ever groups of students at its recent event. Nearly 550 high school juniors, seniors, technical college students, teachers and administrators from 17 schools were in attendance. An outpouring of support from the Houston community included the presentation of a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from Texas Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Lift & Move USA Provides ‘Authentic’ Career Exploration Experience

Response from teachers following the Lift & Move USA event, hosted by NessCampbell Crane + Rigging last month, was positive. Lift & Move USA is an industry-led program to promote careers in the crane, rigging and specialized transportation sectors. It is organized by SC&RA, the SC&R Foundation, NCCCO and KHL Group.
