The 2018 collapse of a pedestrian bridge in Miami, Florida served as a headgear wake-up call for Scott Greenhaus. A 40-plus-year veteran of the construction industry, he was working with his team to install a post-tensioning system when the bridge collapsed. MCAA, NECA and SMACNA Release Joint Tool and Equipment Rental Guide

The Mechanical Contractors Association of America, the National Electrical Contractors Association and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association have released the Tool and Equipment Rental Guide. The publication is available through each association and is a robust guide to equipment recovery costs for mechanical, electrical, line and other construction contractors.
