Construction Begins on Behavioral Health Hospital in North Dakota

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown. The event marked a significant milestone in the state’s commitment to investing in services that support the behavioral health needs of North Dakotans. The new facility will provide psychiatric inpatient care, forensic services including psychiatric evaluation and restoration, psychiatric rehabilitation and the sex offender treatment and evaluation program. The 300,000-square-foot facility will provide 140 beds in a modern, trauma-informed care environment, replacing the existing hospital that has served North Dakotans since 1885. A grand opening was held for Johnson Controls’ new Innovation Center – Warren Johnson Engineering Lab. The new 109,000-square-foot facility, located in Glendale, Wisconsin, houses approximately 250 employees dedicated to advancing smart building technologies and sustainable solutions. Johnson Controls and Weas Development collaborated with Mortenson Construction, Eppstein Uhen Architects and CBRE Global Commercial Real Estate Services to bring this project to life.
