The Concrete Foundations Association has opened submissions for its 2026 Projects of the Year awards, a program highlighting the creativity, ingenuity and craftsmanship of cast-in-place concrete construction. The program’s categories are single-family residences in various sizes, commercial projects, apartments or multi-family residences, all-concrete homes, agricultural projects, non-foundation elements and non-wall structural elements. CFA also offers a free-category option for projects that do not fit into standard classifications, such as pools and staircases. The Concrete Foundations Association unveiled the winners of the 2025 CFA Projects of the Year and Professional Awards. The honors were presented during the recent 2025 CFA Concrete Foundations Convention held in Deadwood, South Dakota. Winners Announced for Steel Erectors Association of America Annual Competition

An independent panel of judges on behalf of the Steel Erectors Association of America selected three steel construction projects for the association’s annual Projects of the Year. Teams from Gardner-Watson Decking (Class I for erection contracts up to $500,000), Buckner Companies (Class III above $1 million to $2.5 million) and J.P. Cullen & Sons (Class IV over $2.5 million) were honored at SEAA’s 2018 Annual Convention, held in April. Note: No awards were granted in the Class II category ($500,000 to $1 million) for 2017.
