DENVER, Colo. — Ware Malcomb was recognized recently by the Tilt-Up Concrete Association at the organization’s annual convention and awards gala with a 25th Annual Tilt-Up Achievement Award for its work on the Prologis Stapleton Business Center North Building 1 located in Denver, Colorado.
The tilt-up warehouse is a 402,398-square-foot speculative facility and incorporated several architectural features including lay-up panels, floating panels and spandrels that reach over 50 feet. The corners of the building incorporated 3-story recessed storefront glass, covered canopies, floating panels and bearing spandrels. The complexity of the architectural details required careful planning.
In addition to winning an Achievement Award at the gala, the firm participated in TCA’s community project dedication ceremony on October 1 for a new Hurricane Sandy Memorial in New Jersey, for which Ware Malcomb served as architect of record.
