FALLS CHURCH, Va. — HITT Contracting Inc. recently acquired Houston, Texas-based Trademark Construction, a full-service commercial contractor with more than 30 years of experience.
The acquisition of Trademark will strengthen HITT’s position in Texas and expand the firm’s ability to service clients in key sectors such as corporate interiors, healthcare, technology and commercial-base building construction. The new 55-employee office will operate as Trademark HITT for the foreseeable future. Trademark HITT will recruit additional talented construction professionals to further expand operations.
Across the nation, HITT Contracting Inc.’s notable projects include Intelsat’s administrative headquarters in Tysons, Virginia, featuring a six-level monumental stair and a 330-person multi-purpose room with 28-foot ceilings; George Washington University Hospital Radiation Oncology Center in Washington, D.C., an occupied interior renovation which included two linear accelerators and a CT scanner; Verizon NAP of the Capital Region, a $187-million secure campus featuring five independent data centers; Boston Properties’ Signature at Reston Town Center, a $150-million project that will total 508 units between 21-story and 19-story towers.
Trademark Construction’s significant projects include several high-end corporate interior projects in the Houston area such as The Alliant Group, a 185,000-square-foot interior build-out of six floors and a monumental staircase; Datacert, a two-floor, 50,000-square-foot interior project; 30,000-square-foot TEAM Industrial Services project and a 13,500-square-foot project for St. Luke’s Community Hospital that included an emergency room renovation.
