GARDNERVILLE, Nev. – Gilbane Building Company has been completed construction on the Wa She Shu Casino Project in Gardnerville, Nevada. The casino was officially opened on May 26 and sits beside the recently opened Washoe Travel Plaza, which was another Gilbane project for the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California that was opened in February.
The casino project consists of approximately 14,530 square feet of space and includes the gaming floor, back of house facilities, restaurant and bar, loading dock and receiving area and kitchen space for food preparation. The gaming floor sports 130 gaming machines, with a capacity to hold an additional 50 machines. A future expansion is planned to the north end of the casino, which would increase the size of the gaming floor.
