STOCKTON, Calif. – Sundt Construction, Inc. broke ground earlier this month on a new student housing complex for the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
The $36-million project is being developed by Capstone Development Partners, a private student housing developer known for partnering with colleges and universities to develop student housing that supports the student experience.
Expected to be complete by early 2018, the project includes the development of two new four-story buildings totaling 158,000 square feet and housing 381 beds. The new residences will provide contemporary apartment-style housing with gathering spaces and other indoor and outdoor student amenities, including a large communal kitchen, community spaces and study spaces to support the academic needs of students.
