Balfour Beatty has completed work on the new $38-million Elgin High School in Moray, on behalf of Hub North Scotland.
As part of the works, Balfour Beatty has constructed a new teaching and sports facility adjacent to the existing Elgin High School, which will cater to 1,000 pupils.
Balfour Beatty was appointed as main contractor for Elgin High School in 2016, following close collaboration with Hub North Scotland during the preconstruction phase, to provide its client, Moray Council, with the most cost-effective and high-quality design solution.
The second phase of the redevelopment plan will soon commence. An old school will be demolished to make way for the construction of a new 3G sports pitch and upgraded parking facilities.
