First of 4 Surgical Hubs Opens for Ireland’s Health Service Executive

The first of four surgical hubs recently opened following the successful delivery and handover of the site to the Republic of Ireland’s Health Service Executive by AECOM. These medical facilities are located in Ireland’s regional cities as part of the HSE’s Surgical Hubs program, and are being developed in key locations on sites operated under the governance of Model 4 hospitals. PORR to Deliver First Phase of US Air Force Aerial Port of Debarkation

As general contractor, PORR is implementing the first phase of the construction of the United States Air Force Aerial Port of Debarkation at Wrocław-Strachowice Airport in Poland. The contract value amounts to around EUR 100m (PLN 438m). The APOD is a military air logistics base for receiving and handling personnel, equipment and materials. The project is based on the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement between Poland and the U.S. The new infrastructure strengthens defense capabilities and improves the logistical and operational capabilities of the allied forces stationed in Poland. ‘The Forest Trail’ Village: Europe’s Largest 3D-Printed Housing Project

In Denmark, a student village of 36 3D-printed apartments — Skovsporet, or “The Forest Trail” — has been completed by 3DCP Group. Printed onsite using a COBOD 3D printer for affordable housing organization NordVestBO, The Forest Trail is Europe’s largest 3D-printed housing project — and its first students have moved in. Each of the apartments were printed onsite by a single BOD3 construction 3D printer by COBOD, operated throughout by the same crew of three workers, who completed one building of six apartments in just five working days. German Construction Company Uses 3D Printing Division for Headquarters

Matthäi Schlüsselfertigbau, a subsidiary of the German construction company Matthäi, has established its own construction 3D-printing division. The decision followed the successful completion of the company’s new two-story headquarters in Selsingen, Lower Saxony, (Germany) printed with a COBOD BOD2 construction 3D printer and occupied in summer 2026. PERI 3D Construction acted as technology partner and supervisor during the printing phase, in collaboration with architects Schulenburg and planning firm Mense-Korte.
