CHICAGO, Ill. – Skender Construction recently completed a 21,000-square-foot office build-out for The Climate Corporation, a subsidiary of Monsanto Company and creator of digital tools to help farmers sustainably increase their productivity.
Located at 1330 West Fulton Market in Chicago, Illinois, the new open office workspace incorporates rustic wood walls and a custom art feature wall at the entrance. The Climate Corporation’s passion for agriculture is manifested throughout the office with an antique tractor on display and huddle rooms built out as silos using oversized barn doors.
Two dedicated workshops house The Climate Corporation’s equipment and ongoing projects, and a large break room with a custom chain-link design wall offers ping pong and foosball for employees.
Skender, serving as general contractor, collaborated with architect Shive-Hattery and owner’s representative COR Consulting to complete the build-out.
