OHL to Build Soccer Stadium in Slovakia for 19 Million Euros

OHL, through its affiliate OHL ZS Slovakia, has been awarded joint venture construction of a soccer stadium in Košice (Slovakia) for 19 million euros. The project has been awarded by Košická futbalová aréna. The new stadium will have a capacity for close to 13,000 spectators.

The construction of the soccer stadium will be divided into three stages. The first stage will consist in the execution of the playing field, stands and operative blocks with the necessary equipment to comply with the conditions of the Union of European Football Associations. The second stage will include the building of the stands, north and south. The third stage will encompass two training camps and locker rooms.

OHL’s experience in the construction and remodeling of sports facilities dates back to 1935 with the Frontón Recoletos in Madrid, Spain.
