NCC to Build New North Zealand Super Hospital

The Hovedstaden region of Denmark has chosen NCC to construct the New North Zealand Hospital, the last of the super hospitals to be built in Denmark. NCC and the New North Zealand Hospital will now work out the details and plan to sign an agreement during the fourth quarter.

The hospital will comprise a four-story, 118,000-square-meter building. The project is already well known for its design, with a building that resembles a four-leaf clover from above. The hospital will be built in Hillerød.

NCC has experience with hospital construction and using digital tools to create sustainable and flexible projects. This fits in well with the wishes of the Hovedstaden region for an efficient and digitalized construction process to ensure a good overview of the project, timeframe and budget.

NCC will be the main contractor for the project. The budget for the New North Zealand Hospital is approximately SEK 3.4 billion.
