ASCE Seeks Comments on Supplement to Professional Standard

The American Society of Civil Engineers will conduct a public comment period on Supplement 3 for ASCE/SEI 7-16, Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures. The ASCE public comment period is being held from May 21- July 11.

This Supplement updates section 11.4.8 provisions and commentary of the standard: Section 11.4.8 Site-Specific Ground Motion Procedures, with Table 11.4-1 Short-Period Site and Table 11.4-2 Long-Period Site also includes Chapter 11 Commentary, Section C11.4.8 are revised in this supplement.
