Construction Industry Round Table Announces New Chairman, Board Elections

The Construction Industry Round Table, a national business trade association comprised exclusively of approximately 120 chief executives from the leading design and construction companies doing business in the United States and globally, has elected Greg Cosko, president & CEO of Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company, 2021-22 chair of the organization. He succeeds Wassim Selman, president of infrastructure at Arcadis. Cosko was elected during CIRT’s Annual Spring Conference in Washington, D.C., which also welcomed new directors.

Cosko began his career with Dinwiddie Construction Company while attending San Francisco State University. He has had leadership positions with numerous building projects throughout California and was promoted to senior vice president and manager of the company’s Los Angeles, California office in 1990. He was later appointed executive in charge of the Getty Center Project, a position he held until its completion in 1997.

Promoted to president and CEO in 1996, he led a management purchase of the company and its simultaneous merger forming Hathaway Dinwiddie, while retaining the company’s headquarters in San Francisco.

Cosko is on the board of directors of San Francisco State University Foundation; he is also past chair and an emeritus director of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. He is a past board member of the Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA and Junipero Serra High School, as well as past president of the Construction Employers Association. He serves on the board of the Construction Industry Roundtable.

The following members were also elected as officers during the Round Table’s membership meeting:

  • Peter Emmons, CEO, Structural Group, Columbia, Maryland, as vice chairman
  • Henry Massman, president & CEO, Massman Construction, Overland Park, Kansas as treasurer
  • Wassim Selman, president of infrastructure, Arcardis, Atlanta, Georgia will continue to serve on the executive committee as immediate past chairman

In addition to the executive committee elections, CIRT also welcomed the following four industry leaders as new directors who will serve on the board through 2024:

  • Al Barkouli, chairman, David Evans and Associates, Inc., Portland, Oregon
  • Anthony Consigli, CEO, Consigli Construction Company, Milford, Michigan
  • Tom Donnelly, president, Brightview Landscape Development, Calabasas, California
  • Ray Oneglia, vice chairman, O&G Industries, Torrington, Connecticut
