New App Forecasts Crew Location Conflicts, Trade Stacking

Crew location conflicts and trade stacking may be a thing of the past if onthejob.site gets its way. The new construction planning tool connects foremen and other workers on the jobsite via an easy-to-use web application designed to share and analyze planned crew work locations.

“Scheduling is far from perfect and things can fall through the cracks – especially on larger jobsites. Our approach is to have a simple-to-use web application, which asks foremen where their crews are planning to work and when. Once we have that data, the application runs comparisons between crews to see if there are any conflicts,” explained Matt Spergel, inventor and developer of the application. “Now crews will always be able to get to their work location without the hassle of another crew being there. For the first time superintendents – and the jobsite – can easily manage potential crew conflicts so they never see the light of day.”

The app is free for up to 25 users per jobsite with unlimited jobsites.
