The National Center for Construction Education and Research’s annual I BUILT THIS! Contest is returning Feb. 1-March 14. Students across the nation pursuing a construction trade are invited to showcase their building projects for a chance to be recognized, win prizes and help jumpstart their construction career.
NCCER’s annual I BUILT THIS! video contest is a nationwide competition. High school, career and technical education students and postsecondary construction trainees or apprentices are eligible to participate. Prizes for the contest include construction tools and materials worth more than $5,000 for winners and their associated schools.
To participate, upload a YouTube video of a construction-based project you’ve worked on during the 2024-25 school year and submit it on the Build Your Future contest page for a chance to win. Winners will be chosen by NCCER employees and participating industry partners.
