
Turner Construction Company celebrates the opening of Peabody Union, a $284 million, 1.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development along the Cumberland River in Nashville’s South Bank neighborhood. The project redefines urban living and working by combining luxury residences, modern office space, retail, dining and public amenities into one vibrant destination.
Turner provided preconstruction and construction management services for the two-building, five-acre development. Built to integrate seamlessly with Nashville’s dynamic growth, Peabody Union emphasizes sustainability, wellness and connectivity while fostering a pedestrian-friendly environment.
The project includes:
- Olive at Peabody Union – a 27-story residential tower with 355 apartment homes and lifestyle amenities such as a rooftop sky lounge, coworking spaces, fitness center and pet spa.
- A six-story Class A office building with a green roof, connected to a two-acre public commons featuring art, food, retail and wellness programming.
- A central plaza with 50,000 square feet of retail and dining and a 1,050-space underground garage that preserves a walkable streetscape.
- Bluff Landing, a one-acre riverfront park with trails, lawns and an observation deck linking directly to the Cumberland River Greenway.
Peabody Union is registered with the goal of achieving LEED Gold, Fitwel and WiredScore Platinum certifications, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and future-ready urban development.
