Construction Complete on UCAN Fastening Products New Headquarters in Markham

UCAN Fastening Products’ new headquarters in Markham, Ontario (Canada) is complete. UCAN, a third-generation, family owned Canadian company, supplies masonry and metal fastening systems to distributors across Canada and the U.S. The project team for the 15,000-square-foot office fit-out within the new build-to-suit industrial facility included  Ware Malcomb and Integricon Construction.

Spanning three floors, the headquarters features private offices, training room with testing area, open work areas and meeting spaces, all unified by a neutral palette, warm wood accents, plush patterned carpets and understated finishes that convey a sense of calm and professionalism. The design prioritizes practicality and efficiency, while incorporating warm tones and natural textures to create an inviting atmosphere.

The third-floor café is the focal point of the design; a generous, light-filled space that encourages gathering, collaboration and informal interaction. This hub reinforces UCAN’s commitment to fostering community and connectivity among its team members.

Natural light permeates the interiors, enhancing openness and employee well-being. Clean lines, simple detailing and functional layouts ensure flexibility for future growth, while select branded elements provide subtle visual identity without overwhelming the space.
