The state of Louisiana has selected RNGD to serve as construction manager-at-risk for the New Southeast Louisiana State Office Building in Harvey, Louisiana (Project No. 01-107-24-OFC, F.01004573). The project will replace an existing structure with a modern, efficient facility designed to serve state agencies and the New Orleans community for generations to come.
The $84-million project encompasses 116,000 square feet of modern office space designed by Trapolin-Peer and Gensler. The investment represents a new era for Louisiana’s state facilities, bringing contemporary infrastructure and enhanced functionality.
RNGD will implement an integrated construction approach that draws on the company’s offsite manufacturing and prefabrication experience. The team identified significant opportunities to utilize prefabricated exterior wall panels, interior modular wall systems and MEP assemblies. With the company’s 135,000-square-foot prefabrication facility located 11 miles from the Harvey site, the project is positioned to benefit from reduced shipping costs and accelerated timelines.
