Ground was recently broken on Queensbridge Collective, a transformative mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. Clark Construction Group is serving as construction manager-at-risk. Other project team members include Riverside Investment & Development, Woodfield Development, Goettsch Partners and CBRE . Located at a popular intersection in Charlotte’s South End Neighborhood, the development includes a 42-story multifamily tower with 409 units; a 35-story, 600,000-square-foot office building; nearly 30,000 square feet of retail and 1,600 parking spaces. Construction Complete on Silicon Valley’s Sunnyvale Hilton Garden Inn

The Sunnyvale Hilton Garden Inn, located in California’s Silicon Valley, has recently been completed. The project team included Sundt Construction, Inc. and Architectural Dimensions. According to Jim Larrieu, vice president and Sacramento regional director for Sundt’s Building Group, the property “will equip guests with the amenities and workspace close to technology companies like Google, Apple and Facebook.” Sundt served as the construction manager at risk for the $47.2-million hotel project. University of North Texas Dedicates Biomedical Engineering Addition

The dedication of the University of North Texas Biomedical Engineering addition recently took place on the UNT Discovery Park campus. Sundt Construction served as general contractor, with TreanorHL as the architect for the expansion. The $11.6-million project included a 26,250-square-foot addition onto the existing main building at Discovery Park. The project provides much-needed space for the growing biomedical engineering program; the program formerly occupied a small amount of office space within Discovery Park. Dedication, Ribbon Cutting Celebrated at New PK-8 in Urbana

URBANA, Ohio – District officials and Gilbane Building Company recently hosted a community event for the dedication and official ribbon cutting of the new Urbana PK-8 school located in Urbana, Ohio. The new facility is the second building to be completed this year, following the opening of the new high school in the spring.
