Construction firm Robins & Morton joined Remedy Medical Properties and Broward Health to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new medical office building on the Broward Health Medical Center main campus in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 30.
The eight-story, 188,000-square-foot facility will include 129 exam rooms, expanding access to healthcare in Broward County and providing space for primary care and specialty physician offices. The medical office building is designed for flexibility and scalability and has the ability to expand to 237 exam rooms.
Services will include cardiovascular, pulmonology, primary care, gastroenterology, neuroscience, women’s services and space for future growth. The project also includes a seven-story, 300,000-square-foot parking garage with about 700 parking spaces.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 2027. Robins & Morton is the general contractor. The development was designed by The Beck Group in collaboration with DMZ Architects.
