Turner Construction Company was selected by JMA Ventures to serve as the general contractor for Westcourt Orlando, a 900,000-square-foot mixed-use development in Orlando, Florida adjacent to the Kia Center, home of the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
The $500-million development will offer a Kimpton hotel, high-rise residential units, Class A office space, retail and a live entertainment venue. Designed to create a lively, walkable district, Westcourt Orlando will enhance connectivity and activity around one of the city’s premier sports and entertainment destinations.
Construction of Westcourt Orlando is expected to generate significant economic impact across the region. Early site activity is underway as the team moves toward full mobilization. At peak, the project could support approximately 800 workers onsite, representing roughly 1,600 direct construction jobs over the life of the project. In addition, the project will create opportunities for local subcontractors, with many trade partners expected to come from the Central Florida market. Work packages will be structured to encourage broad participation across multiple project components.
